WHAT’S NEW FROM TECHSPACE – OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
October is best known for a fun, trick or treat filled holiday we all know as Halloween. Yet, contrary to popular belief, All Hallows’ Eve is not a holiday solely consumed with candy, costumes and jack-o-lanterns. It stems from Samhain – a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the “darker half” of the year. Dressing up as ghouls and other spooks originated from the belief that disguising oneself this way would allow people to escape the notice of the real spirits wandering the streets. Halloween is thought to have originated around 4000 B.C., which means Halloween has been around for over 6,000 years.
David Curtis and Cynthia Perry of Curtis + Perry believe a product is something you buy, but a brand is something you join.

BUSINESS TIP OF THE MONTH
Learn Through Experience
You will never be ready. No matter how many business books you read or how many times you go over your perfect business plan, you will never find an easy road to a successful business. There is no perfect route to take that will lead you down a road with zero obstacles. Instead of waiting months or even years to execute, take the appropriate amount of time to prepare and make the leap with your business venture. Nothing beats experience when becoming an expert entrepreneur. The most important thing you can do is make mistakes and learn from them – then never make those same mistakes again. A seasoned entrepreneur is a priceless entity that only struggle and practice can shape over time.
