    Customer Reviews: Your Online Reputation

With the digital world constantly evolving, the power of online customer reviews has never been greater. When weighing your options between two businesses, are you going to trust a company to tout its strengths and weaknesses truthfully, or are you going to trust somebody just like you who has experienced this product firsthand? According to business 2 community, “ 90% of consumers read online reviews and 88% of them trust the online reviews as much as personal recommendations”. Almost nothing is more credible than a long list of satisfied customers. This means that by having little or no online reviews, 88% of your potential clients will lack pertinent decision-making information.

Your company’s presence on the web should be a top priority – and while you can take control of this virtual presence by building your company’s website, social media platforms, and SEO, what you upload is not the sole outlet of information your potential customers will be viewing. What people are saying about their experience with your business has a great influence on your online reputation, and with online review sites like Yelp and Google+ becoming more prevalent, you must understand how these reviews affect your business.

Online review sites are not the only place consumers review your business in this day and age – your social media platforms have areas where customers can leave reviews and comments, third parties can write a blog post or create video testimonials, and others can simply post about their experience with your business on their personal accounts. With 72% of consumers stating that they will take action only after reading a positive review, it’s safe to place importance on these testimonials.

While you cannot force your customers to write positive reviews about your business, there are a few best practices concerning your online reputation:

    • Respond to your negative reviews! Mistakes happen, and instead of ignoring these moments, shed light on what actually happened and attempt to remedy this situation professionally. This can humanize your business and show that you are willing to do what it takes to make your customers happy.
    • Show off your positive reviews. Don’t be afraid to post positive video testimonials on your YouTube channel and repost reviews on your website. This can boost the effect and reach of these positive reviews.
    • Be worthy of a good review. Ensure you are doing everything you can to make customers happy and earn these positive words. By preventing a bad experience with your business, you are preventing a negative review.

We would like to thank all of our amazing members for posting phenomenal reviews of our TechSpace campuses across the nation! We absolutely love helping you grow your business and watching you succeed. Here are a few reviews that we are extra proud of, and that make us love our job even more:

    TechSpace, Costa Mesa

“This is where it all started. Our business needed an office quickly as we grew beyond coffee shops and were tired of stealing wifi. The team at Tech Space worked with our timeline and budget to get us set up as quickly as possible. We were able to stay there throughout the birth of our venture. They worked beyond a normal property management team and helped connect the tenants on a personal basis. And the views from the break room were pretty amazing too.We still stay in touch with friends made at TechSpace.” -Trevor C.

    TechSpace Flatiron

“TechSpace Flatiron is my new favorite place to work! Once someone outgrows WeWork, TechSpace is the logical choice in New York City! Super close to all trains (18th St. btw 5th and 6th aves) this New York location has 20+ private/team offices and lux suites– including “penthouse” offices with private terraces!

TechSpace’s superstar team lead by Brendan McGee, Kate Spikler and Kimberly Tulloss are unbelievably professional/polite, courteous community builders, and experts in all areas of the luxury coworking field they dominate. Kate has killer style which is always appreciated in an office!

I found this space through LiquidSpace and the the exclusive roof-top deck where I worked today was spacious, the wifi was SO fast (seriously, not one issue) and I was inspired by the Empire State Building!

With Fifth Avenue shopping nearby and a short walking distance to Union Square and Madison Square park, TechSpace Flatiron is the office of my dreams!” – Maggie R.

    TechSpace Aliso Viejo

“Techspace in Aliso Viejo is perfect!  I started with a virtual office then as my company grew we upgraded to a 4 person suite then to a 7 person.  The beauty of Techspace is that I did not have to invest in cubicles, chairs, technology, long lease, etc… it was all plug and play.

The internet has always been fast and reliable and I have access to nice meeting rooms which makes my company look much bigger than it actually is….there is a Mustards Cafe in our building with good sandwiches.

As a small business owner, I compared in detail the cost of renting out an empty office space and filling it up with everything needed to run a business VERSUS partnering with Techspace and it was much more cost effective with Techspace.” – David M.
